Miscellaneous Information and Thoughts

A buddy sent me a sample of pucks his plant produces.

I definitely wanted to see them, I'm just sorry he sent them to my house (much faster than trying to get them through the plant mail system, as everything these days is suspicious). When I opened the package, chips dribbled out on the kitchen table. Big hunks, little tiny fragments.

I stuck the puck pieces and parts back in the box and put them in the back of the car, another mistake. I'll have aluminum fragments in the carpet for the life of the vehicle.

I set the still-shedding-aluminum-pieces-even-though-it-was-closed box on my desk at work. PUCKS ARE NOT SOLID, not even close. With just an ink pen, I could easily break off piece, even chunks. Yet another mistake. I'll have aluminum fragments in my papers forever. And, the papers have oily spots, like my desk, and the carpet in my car.

Gee, thanks for the pucks.
